Swansea — Wales’s second city

A few days ago we walked around Swansea with friends and found Gin & Juice — a distinctive restaurant. The ground-floor entrance is in a passageway with only a simple board; we did not expect much, just a reasonable place to eat.

Upstairs (lift or stairs) the room opens out, and the sea view at the far end is striking — though the seaside seats were closed for ceiling work.

I had grilled fish; the two men had different burgers. We were all glad we came.
