Cardiff — City of Arcades

Cardiff, the capital of Wales, is home to a magnificent castle and is known as the “City of Arcades.” Its seven distinctive Victorian and Edwardian arcades are filled with an eclectic mix of independent shops, including cafés, restaurants, hair salons, clothing boutiques, jewelry stores, bakeries, bookstores, and record shops.

Beyond the arcades lies a vast pedestrian-friendly city center, where many restaurants and bars offer outdoor seating. Street performers often add to the lively atmosphere, and you can take a leisurely walk along the River Taff, which runs through the heart of the city, all the way to the seaside.

What I love most about Cardiff is the unique atmosphere the city has so thoughtfully created and preserved.
